Pune News : Parts of Pune face water cut on April 27

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued a press note informing the public about urgent repair work of the main water line and installation of a flow meter at Katraj Chowk and Padmavati Pumping Station. The repair work is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 27 April 2023.

As a result of the repair work, there will be a disruption in water supply in the following areas on Thursday, 27 April 2023:

Katraj Kondhwa B., Upper Indiranagar Premises Katraj Village, Gujarwadi Phata, Gujarwadi Road, Varkhadenagar, Utkarsh, Rajas, Bhushan, Indraprastha Society, Mauli Nagar, Vidya Nagar, Anand Nagar Sukhsagar Nagar Part-1 & 2 Shivashambho Nagar, Gokulnagar, Sainagar, Gajanan Nagar, Kakade Vasti, Green Park, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, and some part of Upper Indira Nagar, ISKCON Temple Premises, Tilekar Nagar, Kondhwa Budruk Village, Lakshminagar, Somji Bus Stop Premises, Punyadham Ashram Road, Sai Service, Parge Nagar, Khadimsheen Premises, Yevlewadi, Kamthe-Patil Nagar.

Taljai, Dhankawadi, Bibvewadi area: Taljai Colony and Padmavati area, Sambhajinagar, Dhankawadi, Gulabnagar, Chaitanyanagar area, Kashinath Patil Nagar, Lower Indiranagar, Upper and Super Indiranagar, Chintamaninagar, State Bank Nagar, Lake Town Society, Mahalaxminagar, Punam Garden area, Damodar Society, Mahesh Society, Manmohan Park, Om Abhishek Society, Neelkamal Society, Manas Society, etc. premises.

The water supply in these areas will be completely cut off on Thursday, 27th April 2023, and on Friday, 28th April 2023, water will be supplied with low pressure in the late morning.

The PMC urges residents in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements for alternative water sources during the repair work period. The PMC also requests cooperation from the public and apologizes for any inconvenience caused due to the water supply disruption.
