Pune News : Parts of Pune to face water cut on April 19
On Wednesday April 19, there will be a temporary shutdown of water supply to the Ramtekdi Industrial Area, Sayyed Nagar, Heaven Park, Gosavi Vasti, Shankar Math, Vaiduvadi, Ram Nagar, Anand Nagar, Hadapsar Gaothan, Satavwadi, Ganagle Nagar, Sasane Nagar, Kalepadal, Mundhwa, Malwadi, Solapur Road Left side, Keshav nagar, Shewalewadi, B.T. Kavade Road, Bhimnagar, Balaji Nagar, Vikas Nagar, Koregaon Park, Orient Garden, Sade satra Nali, Mohamadwadi Road Right Side Entire Portion, Entire Handewadi Road, Fursungi, Uruli Devachi Entire, Bhekrai Nagar, and Mantarwadi.
This is due to the urgent maintenance and repair works being carried out on the Ramtekdi main water line under the Lashkar Water Supply Center. The pumping at Lashkar Pumping requires immediate attention, which necessitates shutting down the water supply for the entire day on Wednesday, April 19.
Although there is a possibility of water supply being restored on Thursday, April 20, it will be with low pressure and in the late morning. The authorities have requested all citizens to take note of this and cooperate with the maintenance team.
The inconvenience caused to the residents of the above-mentioned areas is deeply regretted. The authorities assure the citizens that they will try to restore normal water supply as soon as possible.
