Pune News : Parts of Pune to receive no water supply todayÂ
According to Pune Municipal Corporation officials, the water supply cut is necessary to carry out urgent maintenance repairs on the pipelines and other equipments.
The affected areas will experience a complete halt in the water supply on Thursday, 02 March 2023. The maintenance work is expected to be completed by Friday morning, 03 March 2023, and the water supply will be restored with low pressure.
The PMC Water Supply Department has advised residents to store enough water for their essential needs during the water supply cut period. The department has also urged citizens to use water judiciously once the supply resumes to ensure that the water storage levels are restored quickly.
The PMC has assured citizens that all efforts are being made to complete the maintenance work as soon as possible to minimize the inconvenience caused to the residents. The officials have also appealed to citizens to cooperate with the department during this necessary maintenance work.
