Pune News : Pimple Saudagar resident to fly from Los Angeles to Pune for Chinchwad by-polls
Kailas Tile, chairman, Roseland Residency Rowhouse, Pimple Saudagar is flying to Pune from Los Angeles to participate in the voting process for the upcoming by-polls in Chinchwad constituency. His announcement of arrival to Pune on the same date as of the voting day has become one of the most talked about topics for many. Pune Pulse spoke to him about his visit to Pune.
Kailas also planned his trip to Pune to support his friend, former local corporator Vitthal Nana Kate, who is contesting the election on Nationalist Congress Party ticket.
He said, “Vitthal Kate aka Nana, as he is fondly called, is not just a corporator or a leader. He is a true gentleman, social worker who has worked relentlessly for the upliftment of Pimple Saudagar. He has resolved several of our issues. We were facing severe issues because of hawkers around our society who had occupied most of the space on footpaths. We had repeatedly complained about it in Sarathi but there was no permanent solution. When we approached Nana with the problem, the issue was resolved overnight wherein Nana convinced the hawkers and allotted them a better space to run their business. It is his ability to resolve issues amicably that has made him the leader of not only classes but also masses.”
There are many IT professionals living in Pimple Gurav, Pimple Saudagar, Rahatani who travel to Hinjawadi for work. And travelling is a big concern and not having smart public transport is a big drawback to the citizens of this area. We need smart public transport like the Metro in our area to facilitate travel. And to bring such development infrastructure in our area, we need a dynamic and visionary leader like Nana Kate who can bring it in the constituency to uplift the infrastructural development. Hence, I am travelling from Los Angeles to Pune on the voting day to vote for a leader who has a vision to bring the constituency on a global map.”
