In a major crackdown, the Anti-Narcotics Squad seized over 11 kg of ganja from Sus village, located under the jurisdiction of Bavdhan Police Station. The operation took place near the Bhairavnath Temple on Sunday, February 2, around 5 PM.

The police arrested Namdev Sampat Mane (53), a resident of Susgaon, originally from Satara. A case has also been registered against Sameer Shaikh from Bhukum, Mulshi.

According to police reports, Mane was caught with 11.18 kg of ganja, valued at ₹5.69 lakh. The narcotics were allegedly sourced from Sameer Shaikh for sale. The complaint was filed by Police Constable Javed Bagasira at Bavdhan Police Station.
