Pune News: Pimpri Merchants Federation To Close Shops In Pimpri Camp On September 16 And 17
Pimpri, September 13, 2024: As every year, the Pimpri-Chinchwad business community is fully prepared for the Ganpati Visarjan procession. To double the joy of the Ganesh festival, all members of the Pimpri Merchant Federation from Pimpri Camp and the market area will actively participate in the celebrations.
A large crowd of devotees is expected to gather during the Visarjan procession on Monday and Tuesday evenings. To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety, as well as to allow merchants to participate in the event, all shops will close voluntarily after 6 PM on Monday and Tuesday (September 16 and 17). This decision was announced by Pimpri Merchant Federation President Shrichand Aswani.
The voluntary closure of shops reflects the enthusiasm and unity of the local business community in contributing to the festivities while ensuring public order and safety during the Ganpati Visarjan procession.
