Pune News : PMC to hold Heritage Walk on December 10
To explore the cultural heritage of several places from Shaniwarwada to Vishrambaugwada, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has organized a heritage walk on 10th December (Sunday) from Shaniwarwada.
As per further information from the X handle of PMC “In this activity, 11 historic places between Shaniwarwada and Vishrambagwada will be walked on foot and information and identification of these places will be given to the tourists by expert guides.”
The date of the heritage walk is 10 December (Sunday) & the meeting point will be at Delhi Darwaza, Shaniwarwada at 7:00 am.

The PMC had held it’s first heritage walk for one week i.e. from 30th April to 7th May 2023 –
The initiative aims to provide an opportunity for the citizens of Pune and tourists to experience the beauty and grandeur of the historical structures located between Shaniwarwada and Vishrambagwada & to promote the historical significance of the city’s iconic structures.
The PMC’s heritage walk initiative is a part of its efforts to promote cultural tourism and attract visitors to the city. The PMC has been working towards restoring and preserving the city’s heritage structures and has taken several initiatives to promote them among citizens and tourists. The Heritage Walk is one such initiative that aims to showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage of Pune to the world.
