Pune News : PMC yet to plug water leak from pipeline near Nagar road ward office

In a recent development, residents of Vadgaon Sheri have raised concerns about a persistent leakage in the water pipeline on Airport Road. The tap, located just 100 meters from the Vadgaon Sheri office on Nagar Road, has been leaking daily from 5 am to 12.30 pm for the past one month.

This issue has caused inconvenience to the residents of the area, who are now taking matters into their own hands. They have decided to bring this to the attention of the Commissioner, hoping that this issue will be resolved soon.

The residents are now urging the authorities to take prompt action to stop the leak and prevent further wastage of water. This incident serves as a reminder of the need for timely and efficient maintenance of public utilities, to ensure the well-being and safety of citizens.

Somnath Bankar, assistant municipal commisser, ward officer of Vadgaon Sheri – Nagar road said, “we are already working on this issue and soon, the work will be complete” 

Col S Dalvi, a resident of Viman Nagar complained that this pipeline is leaking and thousands of litres are being wasted. The pipeline is located within 100 meters of the ward office and yet the issue has not been solved.
