Pune News : PMRDA to construct over 6000 affordable houses in Bhosari Peth

Pune: As many as 6,452 houses will be built by the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) in Bhosari Peth 12 area at a very affordable prices.
As per information from the Official Twitter Handle of PMRDA, the following are the details of the affordable housing project:
· 47 buildings of 14 floors with parking
· Total number of houses is 6,452
· For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) –
Ø A) 29.55 Sq. M 1 BHK – 3320 Houses
Ø B) 25.70 Sq. M 1 RK – 332 Houses
· For Small Income Groups –
Ø A) 59.27 Sq. M 2 BHK – 1456 Houses
Ø B) 48.89 Sq. M 2 BHK – 1344 Houses
The total cost of the project is Rs 730 Crores
Rahul Mahiwal, Commissioner, PMRDA, said that they are focusing on creating more houses from the perspective of citizens. Phase 1 of Bhosari Peth No 12 has been completed. Now, the second phase is being constructed. In the first phase of the project, 4 thousand 833 houses were constructed and distributed. In the second phase of the project, 6 thousand 452 houses will be newly constructed.
