Pune News : Pune Police takes action against hotel Atmosphere 6 for playing loud music
Pune: Social Security Cell and Crime Branch of Pune City Police took action against Atmosphere 6, a hotel located in Lunkad Skymax Mall, Datta mandir Chowk, Viman Nagar, Pune, for playing loud music on February 14 beyond the permissible limit.
According to reports, officials received information about the loud music being played in the Viman Nagar area after 10 PM on February 14. When the officers of the Social Security Cell arrived at the location, they discovered that loud music was being played at the hotel Atmosphere 6 located on the 6th-floor terrace.
In response to this violation of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Act 2000, the officials of the Social Security Department took action against the hotel and seized the sound system. The confiscated items were handed over to the airport police station, and the hotel was charged with a fine of ₹ 2,10,000 for violating Rule 5 of the Environment Protection Act 1986.
