Pune News : Pune Traffic Police seeks suggestions from citizens

In an effort to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow in the Kondhwa Traffic Division of Pune City, Vijayakumar Magar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Transport, Pune City, Kondhwa, has issued temporary orders under the Motor Vehicles Act. The orders have been put in place in exercise of the powers vested in him under Sections 115, 116(1) (a) (b), 116(4) and 117 of the Act.

As per the orders, 10 feet no parking will be imposed on the south side of Clover Palisade Society Gate on NIBM road and on the north side of the gate of Clover Hills Co Op Housing Society Ltd. Meanwhile, four-wheeler parking will be allowed in the remaining 50 feet space near both the gates.

The previous parking restrictions at these places are being cancelled. Citizens are encouraged to submit their suggestions or objections to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerwada Post Office, Bungalow No-6 Jail Road Pune- 41006, from 4/03/2023 to 18/3/2023. The final order will be taken after considering the suggestions and objections of the citizens, with the exception of essential service vehicles such as fire brigade, police vehicles, and ambulances.

These orders will help ensure the safety of pedestrians and smooth flow of traffic in the Kondhwa Traffic Division. Citizens are requested to cooperate with the authorities to ensure a hassle-free commute.
