Pune News: Road full of potholes between Somji Bus stand and Undri cause inconvenience

Pune: People are having a harrowing time driving through the road between Somji Bus Stop and Undri and Pisoli. Residents, school students, office goers and medical patients are the worst affected.
As per information, the road is full of potholes with no space left for vehicles to drive smoothly and safely. Additionally, due to potholes people have to drive slowly leading to traffic jams in the area. Even after complaining to the Pune Municipal Corporation several times, there has been no response from them.
Atik Kalyani, a resident of the area said, “Look at the conditions of the road going from Somji chowk towards Princetown society. Most of the school buses/ private transport and parents of various schools such as Euro School, Vibgyor, Sanskriti, RIMS, Boston World School, Caelum, Alisha Global, DPS, Bishops, Orchids, Dhruv face severe inconvenience and are at a big risk.”
Another resident of the area, Neeta Sharma, complained about the pathetic condition of the road. She further said PMC should take quick action and resolve the issue.
The road was levelled about two months ago after repeated complaints.
