Pune : Kondhwa based doctor arrested in connection with ISIS Maharashtra Module Case

The National Investigation Agency today arrested one doctor based in Kondhwa in connection with the ISIS Maharashtra Module case. The accused is identified as Dr Adnanali Sarkar, 43 year old from Kondhwa. The NIA has also conducted raids at his location and seized incriminating materials. The NIA team seized electronic gadgets, several documents related to ISIS during the search operation.

The accused arrested by NIA was working at a reputed hospital as a doctor. He had hatched a conspiracy to further ISIS activities, known by different names such as Islamic State, Islamic State of Iraq, Levant, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and many others.

The NIA teams have arrested four people in this case. The four persons are identified as Tabish Nasser Sddiqui from Mumbai, Zubair Noor Mohhamaed Shaikh from Pune, Sharjeel Shaikh and Zulfikar Barodalwal from Thane. A case was registered on June 28 in this regard.
