Pune News : Road To Remain Closed near Kasba Peth Metro Station Due to Construction of Pedestrian Subway

Construction work on the pedestrian subway in the vicinity of Kasba Peth metro station has begun. Due to which the road connecting Kamla Nehru Hospital and Pavale will remain temporarily closed for all types of vehicles except two wheelers. The Pune city traffic police has urged the motorists to use alternate routes during the closure period.

The construction work for the pedestrian subway is being constructed from Saat Toti chowk in Kasba Peth to Budhwar Peth Metro Station. Due to this, heavy vehicles, four wheelers, and three wheelers will be prohibited to enter the road to Kamla Nehru hospital from Pavale chowk.

Pune city deputy commissioner of police Vijay Magar has urged the motorists to seek alternate routes.

Below are the alternate routes :

Vehicles from Kamla Nehru Hospital from Pavale chowk should take Puneshwar chowk via Kumbharves Chowk.

Vehicles can proceed to Kamla Nehru hospital through Kasba Peth Ward office.

Vehicles travelling from Pavale chowk to Pune station can take road via Kasba Peth police chowky via Manik Chowk and Phadke houd to reach their destination.

Vehicles can take the road via Kamla Nehru hospital to take a left turn towards Pavale chowk. The vehicles can take Maharana Pratap road, Devjibaba chowk and Ganesh road to reach the desired destination.

Vehicles can take a right turn from Kamla Nehru hospital via Kasba Peth ward office and proceed on Santaji Ghorpade road from Kumbharves chowk to reach their destination.
