Pune News : School Principal attacked by Hindu activists for allegedly asking students to recite Christian prayers and installing CCTV cameras in girls’ washroom

Pune: In a shocking incident, Hindu activists attacked a principal of the D Y Patil school in Ambi for allegedly installing CCTV cameras in the washroom of the girl’s hostel.
Parents have alleged that the principal identified as Alexander is only responsible for this shameful act. The Hindu outfit also alleged that the accused Principal is responsible for the missionary education of the students.
It is worthy to note that Maval BJP President Ravindra Bhegade wrote a letter to Maval Tahsildar Vikram Deshmukh to take strict action against D Y Patil’s college administration.
Bhegade said, “CCTV cameras were found in the girls’ washroom. Also, there were allegations that Principal Alexander is forcing students to recite Christian prayers and Christian religious things, which are not acceptable. Both issues are serious. I request police to kindly take necessary action against culprits.”
Bhegade further requested the police to kindly check the situation in other schools and colleges in the area otherwise BJP will stage protest against these issues.
