Pune News : SET exam for Assistant Professor to be held on March 26

Pune: The Maharashtra State Level Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of AssistaSEnt Professor is all set to take place on March 26, 2023. The exam has been organized in 17 cities of Maharashtra and Goa, and a total of 1,19,813 candidates have applied for it. This exam is conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University, SET Department, on behalf of the State Government, with the approval of the University Grants Commission.

Dr. Prafull Pawar, Registrar of Savitribai Phule Pune University and Member Secretary of SET, gave information about the exam and informed that the admit cards for the exam are available in the candidate’s login from March 16, 2023. He also stated that the admit card, along with necessary instructions, has been sent to the registered e-mail address of the students.

To download the admit card, candidates need to visit setexam.unipune.ac.in and log in with their registration number. It is essential to carry the admit card and an original identity card to enter the examination hall. The SET department has informed through a letter that no student will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card and original identity card. Moreover, candidates will not be admitted to the examination after 10 am on March 26, 2023, on any pretext.

Candidates are advised to be present at the examination center two hours before the exam. The State Level Eligibility Test (SET) is an important exam for candidates from Maharashtra and Goa aspiring to become Assistant Professors.
