Pune News : Traffic changes for buses on Ganeshkhind Road from 20th Feb; Know more

The Pune Traffic Police has announced changes in traffic for buses at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Chowk as flyover & metro pillar work is going on.

As per further information shared by Pune Traffic Police, work of flyover and metro pillar in SPPU Chowk on Ganeshkhind Road is in progress. So, the road is narrow on both sides. In order to avoid traffic congestion in Pune Vidyapeeth Chowk, it is necessary to change the route and timing of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation’s Shivneri buses plying between Pune station and Mumbai and Thane, which ply from Ganeshkhind road.

Hence, the routes of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation’s Shivneri buses plying on Ganeshkhind road are being temporarily changed as follows, from 20/2/2024 between 8:00 AM to 22:30 PM, on a trial basis till further orders:

·         Until the construction of flyover and metro pillar on Ganeshkhind Road is completed, the entry of buses going to and from Mumbai, Thane via Ganeshkhind Road via Ganeshkhind Road, Pune Vidyapeeth Chowk, Aundh will remain closed every day from 20/02/2024 from 8.00 am to 22.30 pm till the completion of the said constructions on Ganeshkhind Road.

ü  Alternate Route – Buses will take a right turn from Range Hills corner on Ganeshkhind Road and go via Sai Chowk, Ambedkar Chowk, Khadki from Bremen Chowk to Aundh Road to Mumbai, Thane and will return to Ganeshkhind Road by the above route.
