Pune News : Traffic police ban movement of heavy vehicles on Keshav Nagar Mundhwa road

In an effort to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow, the Mundhwa Traffic Division has announced changes to traffic regulations in the city. Heavy vehicles will be banned from traveling from ABC Farm Chowk to Tadigutta via Keshavnagar during peak traffic hours, which are from 7:00 am to 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This new regulation will be effective immediately.

The decision was made after careful consideration of traffic patterns and the need to reduce congestion on the roads. The ban on heavy vehicles will apply to all vehicles, except those providing essential services.

Citizens are encouraged to voice their opinions and suggestions regarding the new traffic regulations. They can submit their feedback in writing to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerwada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Jail Road, Pune by March 12. The Deputy Commissioner of Transport, Pune City, will take into account all suggestions and objections before issuing the final order.

The Mundhwa Traffic Division hopes that the new regulations will help ease traffic congestion and create a safer environment for all road users. They urge all motorists to comply with the new rules and regulations to ensure a smooth and hassle-free commute in the city.
