Pune News : Wife allegedly murders husband over domestic dispute in Wanowrie society  

Pune: In a disturbing incident at the Ganga Satellite society in Wanowrie, a high-end residential area, a woman is accused of fatally assaulting her husband during a heated argument at their residence.

The tragic incident unfolded on Friday around 1:30 pm in the couple’s home. Renuka Khanna (36), the alleged perpetrator, was apprehended by the police for further investigation. Following the altercation, Nikhil Pushkaraj Khanna (36) was promptly taken to the hospital.

According to police sources, a heated argument between the husband and wife escalated, culminating in Renuka allegedly striking a fatal blow to Nikhil’s head, rendering him unconscious.

After the incident, Dr. Pushparaj Khanna, the deceased’s father, informed Wanowrie police of the tragedy via a phone call. Upon the swift arrival of the police, they attempted to mediate and subsequently sought police intervention for a thorough investigation. However, initial efforts to file a complaint with the local police were reportedly unsuccessful.

Nikhil, the deceased, held a prominent position in the construction business, and the couple had been married for the past seven years.
