Pune: Contractor Arrested, BSNL Officials Booked After Three Workers Die Of Suffocation In Duct

A shocking incident occurred in Pune’s Warje area, where a woman riding a two-wheeler assaulted a female traffic police officer, Rutuja Tambe, who was regulating traffic at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk.
According to the complaint filed by Police Constable Tambe at the Warje Malwadi Police Station, the woman rider violated traffic rules and was traveling in the wrong direction. When Tambe stopped her for the violation, the woman resorted to abusive language and physical assault.
Tambe immediately informed her colleague, Constable Chavan, who arrived at the scene. However, the situation escalated further as the accused verbally abused and shoved both officers before fleeing the spot on her bike.
The Warje Police have registered a case against the unidentified woman, and Sub-Inspector Pawar is leading the investigation. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
