The shocking scene unfolded at a 30-storey residential complex where a visitor first noticed security guards anxiously looking skyward. Following their gaze, the visitor was stunned to witness the youth balancing precariously on a narrow ledge, scrubbing its surface with no visible safety gear.

According to eyewitnesses, a woman inside the apartment appeared to be instructing the worker, who silently complied, risking his life for what many presume was a meagre payment. “What kind of desperation makes someone do this? This wasn’t bravery—it was forced risk. If something had gone wrong, they would’ve simply said he acted on his own,” a resident remarked, visibly disturbed.
The premium society—consisting of six towers labeled A to F—is home to high-income residents including business owners, corporate executives, and professionals. Despite the upscale surroundings, the treatment of labourers appears to fall short of basic safety standards.
