Pune : NIA Detains IT Engineer from Kondhwa for Questioning in Terrorism Related Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken a 30-year-old individual into custody from Kondhwa, Pune, for questioning regarding an alleged terrorism-related case. The suspect was apprehended from his residence in Kondhwa during the early hours of Monday.

According to sources, the detained individual is employed as an IT engineer in the city. The NIA teams carried out searches at five different locations in Maharashtra, including two in Mumbai, two in Borivali, and one in Pune.

Sources have further confirmed that the involvement of the person detained in Pune is yet to be investigated, and he has been taken into custody solely for questioning purposes. No arrests have been made thus far. Further details regarding the case are still awaited.
