Pune: NIBM Annexe Residents Organise Charity Drive To Support Families Of Two Men Lost In Separate Tragic Incidents
Pune, November 24, 2025: Two separate incidents in Pune have moved the community — one showing immense responsibility and the other exposing the devastating consequences of recklessness.
On June 15, 2025, Late Shankar Nagargoje, a dumper driver, suffered a massive heart attack while driving near Garware College on Karve Road.
Despite the sudden pain, he managed to steer his heavy vehicle safely to the roadside, preventing a possible accident and saving many lives. Moments later, he passed away, leaving behind a lasting example of duty and humanity.
The second incident occurred on October 21, 2025, the morning of Diwali (Laxmi Poojan Day), when Late Sunny Misal (27), a milk delivery worker, was tragically killed on the spot after being hit by a speeding car driven by four intoxicated youngsters around 5:45 a.m.

To extend support to both bereaved families, residents of Raheja Reserve Premier Society have organised a charity contribution drive on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the society’s clubhouse in Pune.
Contributions may be made to:
Ashok Keshav Mehendale (Raheja Reserve) – 9822440990
Sameer Chaudhary (Raheja Reserve) – 9689904371.
Residents urge everyone to unite in compassion and help rebuild two grieving families through this initiative.
