Pune : PMRDA Announces Land Acquisition Programme For Mhalunge-Maan villages

Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority implemented Mhalunge – Maan Town Planning Scheme no. 1 (First Amendment) dt. The draft scheme is approved as per notification dated 30/12/2022. 

All such lands which have been proposed to the appropriate authority for public purposes under sub-section ii-b of section 59(1b) of the said Act under the draft town planning scheme approved under the provisions of section 68 (a) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, Lands (amenity plots of roads/new roads, water supply/sewerage/electricity substations etc.) in the drawings become fully encumbered/vested with the appropriate authority after approval of the draft town planning plan.

Accordingly, under the said scheme, the proceedings regarding taking possession of the land under the road were taken by the Authority. 04/09/2023 to 08/09/2023 is being conducted at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Mhalunge. In the Mhalunge-Mana Nagar Rachna Yojana No.1 (First Amendment) scheme, about 25 km long roads are proposed, out of which about 49 hectares of land is expected to be acquired. 

“The work of preparing the estimates of the said roads is going on through the engineering department. In order to start the works of these roads, it is necessary to take possession of the land under the road and accordingly, notices have been sent to all the land holders by hand/post,” said said Dattatray Pawar, Metropolitan Authority Planner, Planning and Town Planning Scheme, PMRDA.
