In the recent accident case in Kalyaninagar, Pune, significant actions have been taken by the State Excise Department. The department has sealed two pubs, Cosie and Blak for illegally selling liquor to a minor involved in the accident. The juvenile accused spent ₹48,000 on drinks and food that night.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed these details. According to the FIR, the minor and his friends visited Cosie restaurant around 9:30 pm. After consuming alcohol there, they proceeded to Hotel Blak.

The court has remanded the owner and manager of Hotel Black to three days of police custody. Sessions Judge S. P. Ponkshe issued this order. The accused include Naman Prahlad Bhutada, owner of Cosie, Sachin Ashok Katkar, manager, and Sandeep Ramesh Sangle, owner of Hotel Blak. They face charges for providing liquor to minors. Assistant Police Inspector Vishwanath Todkari filed a complaint at Yerawada Police Station.
Around 2:30 am on May 19, a speeding gray Porsche, driven by the minor, hit a two-wheeler near Landmark Society in Kalyaninagar-Airport road. IT engineers Anish Dudiya and his friend Ashwini Kosta were tragically killed in the accident. The minor, aged 17 years and eight months, has been charged and was granted bail on Sunday.
Additionally, the police have registered a case against five persons, including the minor’s father. Public prosecutors Vidya Vibhute and Yogesh Kadam demanded police custody for the accused. Advocate S. K. Jain defended the accused in court.
