The mother of the minor involved in the recent Pune Porsche accident has clarified that a viral rap video circulating on social media is not of her son. The video, originally shared on Instagram by a user identified as ‘Cringistaan’, was widely misinterpreted to showcase the 17-year-old driver who was recently involved in a tragic car crash that resulted in the deaths of two individuals.

In the aftermath of the accident, misinformation spread quickly, with the rap video being falsely attributed to the teenage driver.

The mother has now come forward to denounce these claims, stating, “I want to share with the media that the videos being circulated are not of my son. It is a fake video. My son is in the detention centre (observation home). I request the police commissioner to protect him.”

The viral video was initially posted on Instagram and rapidly gained traction across various social media platforms, falsely suggesting it featured the minor on the day he was granted bail. This incident has further intensified the public discourse around the tragic accident, emphasizing the need for accurate information and responsible sharing of content on social media.

The Pune Porsche crash has sparked significant public outcry, with many calling for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations and greater accountability for underage drivers.

This clarification aims to mitigate the impact of the misleading video and to focus attention on the actual events and their consequences.
