Pune, May 26, 2025:Three electricity poles of Mahavitaran MSEDCL collapsed in Nere Dattawadi, Mulshi taluka, due to a storm and heavy rain on Thursday (May 22). This led to a power outage affecting 18 consumers.

Continuous rain caused waterlogging in fields and mud in the area, delaying repair work and pole installation.

Despite challenging conditions, Mahavitaran engineers and staff successfully erected the three poles and restored electricity supply to all 18 consumers by Sunday morning (May 25).

Power supply to these remaining consumers is expected to be restored within an hour.
