Pune : PT 3 form now available on PMC website for property holders
The Pune Municipal Corporation has made it easier for citizens to apply for a 40% discount on property tax. This is a welcome move, especially during these difficult times of the pandemic. It’s good that citizens can now download the PT 3 application form from the Municipal Corporation’s website and submit it to the Property Inspector at the concerned zonal offices or civic facility centers without having to pay a fee.
It’s also reassuring to know that the taxation department is preparing to refund and re-enforce the discount for citizens who have paid it. This will provide some relief to citizens who have been impacted financially due to the pandemic.
For citizens who are eligible for the discount, it’s advisable to visit the PMC website at propertytax.punecorporation.org and fill out the application form to avail of the 40% discount on residential property tax.
