Ajay Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has given directives to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) regarding the construction of flyover and a grade separator at Vishrantwadi Chowk.

Sunil Tingre, MLA Vadgaon Sheri, has stated that he has been working on this project for several months now. Civic officials have inspected the site many times. They have discussed the design of the work with the officials. So, the work on this project will begin soon. The problems of the people of this community will be solved soon.

As per information, this infrastructure project is aimed at easing traffic congestion at the Mukundrao Ambedkar Chowk in Vishrantwadi. Pawar was briefed about the details of the project at a meeting held on Saturday (9th September) at Council Hall. He directed the administration to start the tender process within next month. The key meeting was held under Pawar’s chairmanship.

The meeting was held in the presence of Vadgaon Sheri MLA Sunil Tingre, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, District Collector Rajesh Deshmukh, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Additional Commissioner Kunal Khemnar, Additional Commissioner Vikas Dhakane and others. The main focus of the meeting was to resolve the traffic issues in Vishrantwadi. The municipal administration came up with a detailed plan, which included the construction of the flyover and the grade separator at the Mukundrao Ambedkar Chowk.
