Pune : Road from Navketan society in Kothrud open for vehicular traffic 

A missing link of the road, near Navketan Society at Paud Road in Kothrud, has been started by the Pune Municipal Corporation for traffic. Therefore, two-wheelers will be able to come and go directly from Navketan Society to Paud Road.

The PMC has identified missing links at 33 places in the cities on priority, and if work is carried out on those missing links, it will help in improving the traffic flow to a large extent. Out of these, the work of 13 missing links will be completed in the next one and a half months, while work on 7 links is going on.

The road from Navketan Society is shown in the development plan to go from Mayur Colony to Paud Road. A wall has been built there, so one had to take a long detour from Mayur Colony to Paud Road. This issue was resolved by discussing with the members of the society.
