Pune Satara Highway : Traffic diversion announced ahead of flyover work. Check details here.

Pune : Due to flyover work going on at Shindewadi Phata, the Satara Police have announced changes in traffic routes for commuters travelling on the Pune-Satara highway.

As per further information from a press release by Satara Police, On National Highway 48 i.e. Pune-Satara highway, passing through Shirwal police station limits, from Khed Shivapur to Shendre, road maintenance and repair work is going on by Shinde Developers Pvt. Ltd. due to the work of a new flyover that commenced on December 5, 2023, at Shindewadi Phata on National Highway 48. Hence, the following are the traffic changes on the Pune-Satara highway:

·     The traffic from Satara to Pune as well as from Pune to Satara has been diverted through the service road from Shindewadi Phata

·     Traffic going from Bhor to Satara side is diverted from Shindewadi Phata. Through the service road, commuters need to make a U-turn under Sarola Bridge & proceed on the Pune-Satara Highway

·     Traffic from Pune going towards Bhor will take a U-turn from Pandharpur Phata, Shirwal and proceed to Bhor from Shindewadi Phata.

Direction boards and police arrangements have been made at all places where the above-mentioned traffic diversions have been made.

All citizens and motorists should cooperate with the police regarding the changes made in the above traffic routes.
