Pune: Science Events To Be Held At Pimpri-Chinchwad Science Park & Planetarium From Feb 27 to March 2
In celebration of National Science Day on February 28, Pimpri-Chinchwad Science Park and IISER-Kalpakkhar are jointly organizing a series of science-related events from February 27 to March 2, 2025.
Event Highlights:
- Feb 27:Â Hackathon, String Art, STEM Stories, and Comic Strip presentations (10 AM – 5 PM)
- Feb 28:Â STEM Model & Hackathon Exhibition, Science Lecture by A.P. Kulkarni (Nuclear Power Corporation of India), Science Demonstrations, and Sky Gazing (10 AM – 6 PM)
- March 1:Â Science Competitions, Drone Show & Workshop, and an Oratory Competition on the History of Science (10 AM – 5 PM)
- March 2:Â 3D Art, Puzzles, Science Experiments, and Drone Show (10 AM – 8 PM)
Additionally, on February 28, a special Advanced Computer Lab & Augmented Reality Exhibition will be inaugurated for students and visitors. Dignitaries such as PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Science Park Founder-Director Pravin Tupe, and senior scientist Dr. Arvind Natu will be present.
Organizations like IISER-Kalpakkam, Marathi Vidnyan Parishad, the Anti-Superstition Committee, and the Nuclear Power Corporation of India are also participating.
