Pune: Shree Rama Navami Celebrations Held At Geeta Ashram in Khadki

Geeta Ashram, Pune celebrated Shri Rama Navami on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 at Khadki , Pune. Founded in 1998 by some close followers of Guruji Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa , the Geeta Ashram, Pune is dedicated to spiritual activities. The ashram, situated in Khadki, Pune, upholds the selfless principle of “Nara Seva, Narayan Seva” (Service to Humanity is Service to God). 

Shri Rama Navami celebrates the birth of Lord Rama . It symbolizes the victory of righteousness, Dharma over Adharma (evil).  It exhorts us to uphold the moral values and respect one’s duties and responsibilities.  On this day Ramastuthi , Vishnusahasranam , Mahamantra, RamaRaksha Stotram, Balakanda (Chanting and recitation of the holy names of the Lord) were conducted at Geeta Ashram. It was followed by a Spiritual Discourse , Bhajan and Mahaprasadam. Guruji Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa blessed the devotees and disciples who had assembled there. The Disciples and Devotees participated in all these activities with great gusto and fervor .

Geeta Ashram works in the domain of spiritualism and offers many discourses & publications that strive to explain principles expounded by the ancient scriptures like Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagwad Geeta etc. in simple language so that they could be understood and inculcated in one’s day to day life, practically. Geeta Ashram also holds Yoga, Pranayam teaching sessions, Bhajan sessions & important religious day celebrations throughout the year. 

Gurukul Sanskrit Academy, the nonprofit, non-political arm of Geeta Ashram, is dedicated to the cause of spreading Sanskrit language. People from different states, age groups and professional backgrounds, avail of the free Sanskrit courses conducted by the academy.
