Pune Solapur Highway Accident: Truck & Private Bus Fiercely Collide; 2 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured
A terrible accident took place on Patas-Kurkumbh Ghat on Pune-Solapur highway when a private bus & a cement truck hit each other.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Sanjay Nagargoje, Assistant Police Inspector, Patas Police Outpost, said “The accident took place at 4 am today (26th October) when a huge private luxury bus & a cement truck collided with each other, causing heavy damages to both the vehicles. The bus overturned on its left side.”
As per further information shared by Nagargoje, the impact of the accident was so brutal & severe that 2 passengers of the luxury bus were dead on the spot. 1 passenger has suffered serious injuries for which the passenger has been taken to a nearby hospital & further treatment is going on.
The police have registered a case of the incident & investigation is going on regarding the cause of the accident and more.
