7 May 2024 – The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a pilot survey in Hingane, Vadgaon Budruk, and Dhayari to verify if residents have received the promised 40 percent tax rebate on their self-owned properties. This initiative aims to identify why there has been a low number of rebate applications from these areas.
As part of this effort, PMC plans to evaluate 10,000 properties within the designated localities. On the first day alone, data from 1,100 properties was collected.

The project is managed by Ravindra Dhaware, an administrative officer, who leads a team of ten Peth inspectors and five divisional inspectors. This team is tasked with performing thorough on-site verifications and compiling detailed reports to ensure the process remains accountable and transparent.

Property owners are being actively engaged in the survey process, with PMC representatives distributing PT 3 forms to facilitate the collection and verification of necessary information.
