Pune: The Pune Traffic Police has issued temporary traffic restrictions for heavy vehicles passing from Yerawada, Mundhwa and Koregaon Park areas.

As per further information, new traffic restrictions for heavy vehicles have been put in place in Yerwada and Mundhwa, as well as Koregaon Park. These new orders have replaced the ones that were already in place.

· Heavy vehicles coming and going from Pune-Ahmednagar Road to Shastri Nagar Chowk and Ramwadi Chowk to Koregaon Park and Mundhwa via Aga Khan Bridge

· Heavy vehicles coming and going towards Kalyani Nagar and Mundhwa via ABC Farmhouse Chowk from Koregaon Park area via South Main Road, North Main Road and Burning Ghat Road

· Heavy vehicles coming and going towards North Main Road Koregaon Park from Tadigutta Chowk

These restrictions apply to all goods carrying vehicles from one-tonne capacity and above. Entry is closed for these vehicles from 8 a.m. to noon and from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

However, if citizens have any suggestions in this regard, they should convey them in writing to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerwada Post Office, Bungalow No-6, Jail Road Pune 41006 from 6/10/2023 to 20/10/2023. Final orders will be taken after considering the suggestions and objections of citizens and excluding essential service vehicles (e.g. fire brigade, police vehicles, ambulances, etc.).
