Pune Traffic Police changes parking rules in Viman Nagar

Pune: To ensure the safe and smooth operation of traffic in Pune, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijayakumar Magar of the Pune City Traffic Branch has issued orders regarding parking and no-parking zones in the city.
While some orders are here to stay, some are for the time being. 

In some cases, orders have been issued after considering the objections and suggestions received in response to the provisional orders issued earlier. As a result, the Airport Traffic Department has declared a no-parking zone between Vimannagar Lane No. 2 and Srikrishna Hotel, as well as Dutt Mandir Chowk and Upsouth Hotel Lane (Vimannagar Lane No. 2).

P1-P2 parking has been announced from the beginning of Hotel Sambar Lane to Upsouth Hotel as well as Dutt Mandir Chowk to Kailas SuperMarket Chowk and Dwarka Garden Chowk to Sangharsh Chowk for about 200 meters. It has also been clarified that these orders will not apply to essential service vehicles like fire engines, police vehicles, ambulances etc.

The Traffic Branch has issued temporary orders declaring the lane between Jijamata Chowk and Futka Buruj Chowk and Futka Buruj Chowk and Vasant Dates Chowk under Vishram Bagh Traffic Division as a no-parking zone. 
Citizens can raise objections or provide suggestions about the same to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Transport branch, Bungalow no 6, Yerwada postal office, Pune by January 17, 2023.
