Pune Traffic Police Push Broken-Down Bus To Clear Road

City traffic police in Pune received praise for their proactive efforts in clearing a road by pushing a broken-down bus aside. The incident occurred on Thursday and was captured on CCTV, with the footage quickly going viral on social media. The video, posted by the traffic police’s social media handles, shows two officers pushing the bus to the side of the road, allowing other vehicles to pass through.

In a post on X, the Pune Police Traffic division stated, “Today at Vaiduwadi Chowk, bus number MH 12 VF 4104 was stuck in the middle of the road causing a traffic jam. The traffic was eased by Police Naik Dhande and Police Constable Karche by pushing it to one side.”

Pune is notorious for its severe traffic congestion and mismanagement, often drawing criticism towards the city’s traffic division. However, this commendable act by the police officers has won the hearts of many Punekars. Earlier this month, Pune traffic police constables were also applauded for quickly resolving a water logging issue, facilitating smoother traffic flow.
