Pune Traffic Update: Protest At Wadgaon Bridge Ends, Traffic Restored In Phases
Pune, May 2, 2026: The Traffic Branch of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Office, Pune City, has issued a late-night traffic advisory confirming that the roadblock agitation at Wadgaon Bridge has been successfully cleared.
According to the official update released at 10:30 PM, traffic movement on the affected stretch has been restored and is now operating smoothly.
Authorities stated that vehicular movement on both sides from Satara to Mumbai and Mumbai to Satara is being resumed in a phased manner to ensure safe and orderly flow.
Commuters have been urged to follow traffic rules, drive cautiously, and cooperate with the administration during the ongoing normalization process.
