Pune : Trailer overturned near Raj Bhavan; Traffic jam caused on Baner, Aundh road

On February 3, a trailer overturned near Raj Bhavan at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Chowk. As a result, there was a traffic jam on Baner, Aundh Road. Hence, in the morning, people leaving for the office and vehicles transporting school students were heavily troubled in this area.

Meanwhile, the traffic coming from Sangvi to the SPPU was stopped. Also, the traffic coming from Bremen Chowk had been diverted towards Bopodi. Due to the overturning of the trailer, a huge traffic jam was witnessed at the Savitribai Phule Pune University Chowk.

Metro work is going on in the Anandrishiji Maharaj Chowk area in front of the Pune University on Ganeshkhind Road. A cargo trailer that came for these works overturned while taking a U-turn in front of Chatushrungi police station near Raj Bhavan. The incident took place at around 4 am. 

Due to this, the traffic coming towards Pune from Bremen Chowk, in front of the Pune University, had been diverted via Bopodi. This incident further added to the traffic jam that occurs every morning in front of SPPU Chowk.
