Pune: Tribute Paid To Porsche Crash Victims As NCP Unveils Memorial In Kalyani Nagar

In a solemn gesture, the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) paid tribute to the victims of last year’s Porsche car accident by unveiling a memorial plaque at the crash site in Pune. The incident, which claimed the lives of Ashwini Koshta and Anish Awadhiya, had sparked outrage across Maharashtra after a minor from an affluent family was accused of running over the two young professionals.
The memorial plaque was installed by Derek D’Silva, Vice President of the party’s Social Media Cell (Pune), and formally unveiled by Pune City President Prashant Jagtap.
“This moment was truly emotional. The plaque stands as a symbol of our collective grief and respect for the departed,” said Jagtap during the unveiling.
The party emphasized that the tribute also serves as a reminder of the need for justice and accountability in high-profile cases involving the privileged.
The NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) reiterated its commitment to standing by the victims’ families and ensuring their voices are not forgotten in the pursuit of justice.
