As per information, the accused, by winning the trust of one of the complainants, told them that by liking and subscribing to a YouTube channel they would earn a huge amount of money. The women agreed to the task.  However, the fraudster told them that they have to first register by making an online payment.

The women agreed to this and by making initial payments of Rs 2.44 Lakh from the account of the first woman and Rs 74 thousand from the account of her friend through UPI & net banking, agreed to do the task. However, the accused, after receiving the total amount of Rs 3.14 Lakh, absconded without informing the victims.
