Pune University reschedules examinations planned for June 29 due to Bakri Eid and Ashadhi Ekadashi

Pune: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has decided to postpone all examinations that were initially scheduled for June 29 due to Bakri Eid and Ashadhi Ekadashi which fall on the same day. The postponed examinations will take place on July 9 at their respective designated times.
In an official circular issued by the university, it was stated that the summer examinations for 2023 commenced on June 6. However, all exams originally slated for June 29 will now be rescheduled.
Numerous colleges affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University had requested a change in the examination date from July 29 to July 9. Responding to these requests, the university decided to accommodate the changes. The circular also directs all affiliated colleges in Ahmednagar, Nashik, and Pune to suspend and reschedule their examinations accordingly.
The postponement aims to ensure that students have the opportunity to observe and celebrate these important festivals without any conflicts with their academic commitments.
