Pune: Two Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Car Crash Near Bund Garden Metro Station
Pune, November 2 — A tragic road accident occurred near Bund Garden Metro Station early this morning around 5:10 AM, leaving two people dead and one critically injured.
According to initial reports, a black Volkswagen Polo carrying three occupants lost control and crashed heavily near the metro station. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the car was completely damaged.
Police officials and emergency responders rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the alert. Two of the occupants were declared dead on the scene, while the third person was rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, though high speed is suspected to be the primary reason.
The incident has once again raised concerns over rash driving during early morning hours on Pune’s city roads.
