Fed up with persistent issues in his newly purchased Mahindra Thar, Ganesh Sangade from Junnar decided to make a dramatic statement in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Frustrated with unresolved complaints at the Mahindra Sahyadri Motors showroom near Hinjawadi Flyover in Wakad, Sangade attached his SUV to a pair of donkeys and had them pull the vehicle directly to the showroom, turning heads along the way.

Sangade, who purchased the Mahindra Thar just a few months ago, revealed that the car began giving him trouble almost immediately. Despite multiple visits to the dealership for repairs, his problems remained unresolved, pushing him to this unconventional protest. To add to the spectacle, he organized a small procession during the short journey, complete with dhol tasha, drawing attention from passersby and soon going viral on social media.

Speaking about his ordeal, Sangade stated, “I bought this car because of its well-known reputation, but from day one, it has caused me nothing but trouble. Even the recommended services based on mileage didn’t resolve the issues I’ve been facing.”

He detailed the recurring problems: “The car suffers from water leakage, consistently low mileage that forces me to refuel every day, deteriorating paint with patches of rust, and engine noise that makes driving stressful.”

The unusual protest has sparked conversations online, highlighting the frustration customers can face when post-sales service falls short. Sangade’s dramatic step serves as a stark reminder to manufacturers about the importance of resolving consumer grievances promptly. While some found the act humorous, many sympathized with his predicament, emphasizing that such extreme measures reflect the depth of frustration experienced by dissatisfied buyers.
