Pune, January 13, 2026: Pramod Bhangire, the official Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) candidate for Ward 41 — Mahadevwadi–Undri — in the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Elections 2026, has outlined a comprehensive and people-centric vision aimed at transforming the entire ward into one of Pune’s most developed, connected, and inclusive regions.

His vision is rooted in balanced growth — blending modern urban infrastructure with the preservation of natural, cultural, and social heritage — while ensuring that development directly benefits local residents.

Undri is poised to witness a fresh wave of planned and inclusive development under the vision of Pramod (Nana) Bhangite, with a strong focus on infrastructure, employment, sustainability, and heritage conservation.

Key Development Commitments:

  • Develop a robust and well-planned network of internal roads
  • Establish a Mini MIDC to promote industrial growth and build a strong industrial culture
  • Upgrade internal roads to seamlessly connect with major city arterial roads
  • Create employment-oriented industries and new opportunities for the youth
  • Provide state-of-the-art infrastructure in newly merged villages
  • Construct high-capacity water storage tanks to ensure an independent and uninterrupted water supply
  • Implement a pilot project integrating multiple public transport systems
  • Allocate dedicated spaces for schools, healthcare centres, gardens, and joggers’ parks
  • Form a representative committee involving citizens from the entire Panchkroshi region
  • Execute impactful projects aimed at accelerating economic growth
  • Preserve and protect the heritage of historic wadas (traditional mansions)
  • Conserve water bodies, green zones, and surrounding hill areas

Mahadevwadi: A Hub of Maximum Civic Facilities

Pramod Bhangire envisions Mahadevwadi emerging as one of Pune’s best-equipped residential zones. The plan focuses on the holistic development of internal roads, strengthening healthcare, education, and social infrastructure, and ensuring uninterrupted and independent water supply systems. Improved connectivity between Handewadi, Undri, and Mahadevwadi will be prioritized, alongside employment opportunities for youth and women. Public transport hubs, schools, hospitals, and joggers’ parks will be developed through citizen participation, boosting the local economy while conserving cultural and natural heritage.

Autadewadi: Rural Strength with Urban Opportunities
For Autadewadi, the vision is to elevate the village to new developmental heights. Strong and durable internal roads, agro-based industries, and processing centres will be established to support farmers and local livelihoods. A direct Autadewadi–Hadapsar connectivity corridor will enhance access to markets and employment. Modern water storage systems, public transport facilities, schools, healthcare services, and green spaces will be expanded, with villagers playing an active role in development planning.

Holkarwadi: Inclusive and Sustainable Growth
In Holkarwadi, the focus will be on cement concrete internal roads, improved connectivity to the city, and the creation of agriculture-supportive and small-scale industrial clusters. Employment generation for youth and women, modern water tanks for uninterrupted supply, expansion of public transport, and upgradation of schools and primary healthcare centres form the core of the plan. A village-level development committee will ensure transparency, while cultural heritage structures and green zones will be carefully preserved.

Pisoli: A Complete Urban Transformation
Pramod Nana Bhangire’s vision aims to completely transform Pisoli’s civic landscape. A well-planned network of internal and connecting roads, a proposed Mini MIDC to boost industrial and commercial growth, and strong Pisoli–Undri–Hadapsar connectivity are key priorities. Skill development and employment centres for youth, high-capacity water storage tanks, a pilot public transport project, and the development of schools, hospitals, gardens, and sports facilities will redefine Pisoli’s urban identity. Development will be guided by citizen participation, with strong emphasis on protecting heritage structures and natural assets.

Wadachiwadi: Towards a Modern Village Identity
Vadachiwadi will be developed as a model modern village with planned roads, drainage systems, and sustainable water supply. Dedicated zones for small industries and warehouses will generate local employment, supported by skill development centres. Improved Undri–Pisoli–Vadachiwadi connectivity, expanded public transport, upgraded schools, health centres, and playgrounds will ensure balanced progress. Environmental-friendly development will remain a key principle.

Handewadi Road–Satav Nagar: Infrastructure-Led Growth
For the Handewadi Road and Satav Nagar belt, the vision includes hi-tech internal roads, modern drainage, water supply systems, and strong integration with PMPML buses, metro feeder services, and other mobility options. Startup support and employment opportunities for youth, protection of green belts and open spaces, and allocation of land for schools, healthcare, and sports complexes will ensure long-term growth monitored through citizen committees.

Kalepadal: Planned, Safe, and Prosperous
Kalepadal’s future will be shaped through crime-free development, planned roads, street lighting, industrial and commercial zones, and strengthened Hadapsar–Undri–Kalepadal connectivity. Employment and skill centres, high-capacity water infrastructure, public mobility projects, schools, healthcare facilities, and parks will be introduced. A regional development committee will drive economic growth while safeguarding hills, green zones, and water bodies.

Commitment to Ward 41
Pramod (Nana) Bhangire’s vision for Ward 41 is clear: participatory governance, transparent planning, strong infrastructure, employment-led growth, and environmental responsibility. With the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leadership and grassroots support, he aims to turn Mahadevwadi–Undri into a benchmark ward for the PMC — where development is not promised, but delivered
