Pune: Water Cuts on Friday for Maintenance
Pune: Residents in areas under the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will experience water cuts on 24th May (Friday). The water supply will be restored at low pressure on Saturday morning, according to a press release issued by the PMC on Tuesday.
The civic body will be conducting repairs and electrical maintenance works at several pumping stations, including Wadgaon, Warje, Pune Cantonment, SNDT, Parvati, Bhama Askhed, and the New Holkar Bridge. These maintenance activities necessitate the temporary water cuts.

“The works are part of regular maintenance. The civic administration has not taken any decision to implement cuts for better management of water supply during the summer season. A meeting with the irrigation department will be held in June to review water availability and the arrival of the monsoon,” said the head of PMC’s water supply department.
