Pune Weather : Now, weather information available on variable messaging display boards

As a part of improving the out reach of Indian Meteorological Department, and a step towards the Urban Meteorology, o/o CR & S IMD Pune, Pune Smart City Development Corporation Ltd. [PSCDCL] and Pune Municipal corporation [PMC] initiated the displaying of “Weather information” on multiple variable messaging display boards (VMDs) located at various places within Pune City.

The location specific weather information such as, Maximum temperature, Minimum temperature and 24-hour rainfall data will be made available by IMD,
Pune on daily basis for the benefits of citizens, Govt. depts., and various other departments.

This information will be displayed on VMDs by PSCDCL team. It will be further scaled up with additional information too.
