The Meteorological Department has predicted that the intensity of heat will be more in the months of March and April this year, and the possibility of heat waves. The temperature in the entire state including Pune has been dry for the past week, and the maximum temperature has increased above the average.

However, the minimum temperature is still fluctuating in the state. Last week, the minimum temperature in Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada along with Pune dropped to 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature hovered around 35 degrees Celsius. So everyone felt the heat in the morning and the hot sun in the afternoon.

Some parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha recorded an increase in maximum temperature over the average on Monday. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius in Washim and the lowest at 15.3 degrees Celsius in Pune.
