Pune Weather Update : IMD issues orange alert for Satara and Pune districts on Sunday

PUNE:  The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow and orange alerts for several districts and specific locations within the state. Less rainfall was observed throughout the state last week. Conversely, rain has made a comeback in a few regions again.

As per the information provided by IMD, on Saturday, Satara district was given an orange alert and Pune was given a yellow alert as substantial precipitation had been observed. Similarly, both Satara and Pune districts were issued an orange alert on Sunday.

The IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall in Pune city for the next four days. It has issued a yellow alert in Marathwada and Vidarbha regions as well as in cities like Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Parbhani, Nanded, Chandrapur, Nagpur, and Wardha. Heavy rains lashed parts of the state, but Dhule district has received only 75 per cent of the average rainfall.
